Happy The Second Day After Marine Day!!!

Standard

It is now two days after Marine Day!

I hope all is well!

I wonder if you are grunting with happiness because you got them all correct!
I wonder if you are grunting with disappointment because you did not do it!
I wonder if you are grunting with frustration because you missed some!!!

Here are the answers to yesterday's post:

Sakana-kun

Did you know that the average Japanese person consumes up to  67  kilograms of fish a year?

And, did you know, the Brits only get through about 4.4  kilograms?

Did you know that Japan gets through around8.4 million tons of fish a year?

Did you know that Sakana-kun has over 15 million viewers a week ?

What is the fish challenge?

Sakana-kun can recognize any fish purely by tasting it. The challenge is to eat

a raw anonymous lump of fish and be able to tell exactly what that fish is!

What is the name of the fish in English?

Grunt

Have a good one!

Sincerely,

Katie

  1. Sakana-kun is a very expert of fish. A few years ago, he rediscovered “kunimasu”, a kind of trout. They were thought to have been extinct. Good job, Sakana-kun!
