This Is A Blue Moon Month!!!

Standard

What is a blue moon month?

A) When the moon turns blue

B) When there is bad news twice

C) When there are two full moons in one month.

Now the idiom–once in a blue moon– means not very often.

Once in a blue moon:

I eat ice cream. (I don’t eat ice cream very often.)

he goes to a concert. (He doesn’t go to a concert very often.)

she reads a book. (She doesn’t read a book very often.)

they go out to dinner. (They don’t go out to dinner very often.)

we rent a movie. (We don’t rent a movie very often.)

How about you? What do you do once in a blue moon?

Can you think of 5:

Once in a blue moon I…

Once in a blue moon I…

Once in a blue moon I…

Once in a blue moon I…

Once in a blue moon I…
